About us

Since spring 2000, the J. Hansen Vermarktungsgesellschaft mbH has been trading exclusively with organic meat. As an affiliated company of Friland A/S (Denmark), we actively shape the European market for organic meat. Our focus is on the marketing of meat cuts of pork and beef, likewise we trade with meat cuts of veal, lamb and poultry.

Our suppliers are associations of producers and organic-certified slaughterhouses. In addition to our trade activities, we have contracted several facilities for slaughter and deboning. Following our principles, the eco-compliant production and slaughter of animals in EEC-certified plants are controlled continuously.

Since 2002, we have been partners of Bioland - and are thus able to assure an additional security for our production processes and products. Our circle of customers ranges from medium-sized handicraft manufacturers and companies supporting the exclusive usage of organic meat, to industrial meat processing plants. We mainly deliver to processing customers who look to expand their assortment with a number of organic meat products. For retail we offer complete system solutions.

Friland Export

Seit Kurzem liegt die Exportverantwortung unseres Mutterkonzerns Friland A/S in unseren Händen. Friland A/S schlachtet ca. 1.500 Öko-Schweine pro Woche.

Etwa 70 Prozent des dänischen Öko-Schweinefleisches wird ins innereuropäische Ausland exportiert.



Öko-Sauen

Seit Woche 43 schlachten wir im zwei- bis dreiwöchigen Zyklus rund 100 Öko-Sauen.

Die Tiere aus dänischer Aufzucht werden im Danish Crown Betrieb in Skaerbaek, der auf Sauenschlachtung spezialisiert ist, geschlachtet.
